Here’s a comment I made on comments people were making on how the Japanese are SO much smarter than us:
“I’ve been reading a lot of comments and I have to talk about one thing: Japanese Kids.They are taught to be RESPECTFUL. In their schools they can learn way more because you don’t have some trash disrupting the teacher every 5 seconds. If our parents taught us to be half as respectful as the Japanese we would gain about 6 more hours of teaching a week because the teacher wouldn’t stop 20 times during class.Seriously, think about it.They don’t allow trash into their schools and they are taught to be respectful from the time they are little. Most kids here are neglected by their parents and most aren’t told how to behave.So putting kids in school for 9 hours isn’t the answer, knocking some respect into them and their trashy parents is the answer.”
Here is my original comment on the issue:
As a Student, I have to disagree with Obama’s plan. First, kids need some down time. I hardly have time to do everything I want to do in the day, and i get home at 3. I can only imagine the stress of getting home at 6. And I’m an All A’s student! Imagine the stress an average kid would be under!Second, kids in countries like Japan were raised with a large amount of school time, you can’t just change the school day and expect all the kids to adjust properly. Sure, I’ll live, but it will be pretty hard.Third, What happened to social life? I get home at 3. I do homework from 4-5, then eat from 5-6, then finish homework until 7. I get ready for the next day until around 7:30, then I have 2 hours to wind down.Now let’s look at a 9 hour school day.I’d get home at 6, eat dinner until 7, then do homework until 9. Then I would get 30 minutes to get ready for the next day and 30 minutes to socialize.”fun.”I just hope this doesn’t really happen.

They are a Prog Rock band that makes all their songs based around this story, that is fleshed out more in Claudio Sanchez’s(lead singer/guitarist) comic, Amory Wars.

I’d say it is PROBABLY the greatest Superhero games ever and is one of the best GAMES of 2009.

Okay, so I WAS going to write about Religion, but decided that may not be for the best.
So instead I’ll right about Dragos240.
He’s an idiot over at UF that had a server, told everyone all the details of it, got forkbombed, continued to act like he was SO fricking awesome because he had a fucking server, came over to Linsux, made about 10 posts then left.
Really?
Yeah, REALLY!
What an IDIOT. He’s only 14, some say, well, I sure as hell know that around that age I wasn’t some idiot trying to look cool. Who the hell gives out ALL the details of their server!? I sure as hell don’t know anyone (personally) that has done anything that stupid on their computer. Like Captain Awesome said:
“Very little stops me from uploading a ton of kiddie porn to his http directory.”
That little idiot is lucky being forkbombed was the only thing they did. If someone DID upload some CP, The FBI would be knocking at his door, take him in, arrest him and he’d be on the sex offender list for the rest of his life.
His life would be ruined. He’d be called a freak and never be able to find a job. What a shitty fate that would be. All because he is too dumb for his own good.
Long story short, don’t post stuff you shouldn’t, be a little smarter and be a little less naive and YOU WILL LIVE A BETTER LIFE!!
